Tahini Dressing

This dressing adds a healthful pizzazz to green leaves. A match made in heaven with ripe avo.
Tahini Dressing

VEGAN | GLUTEN FREE | Makes 300ml


  • 100g hulled tahini 
  • 30g honey or agave 
  • ½ teaspoon mild English mustard 
  • ½ teaspoon grated garlic 
  • 75ml apple cider vinegar 
  • 2 teaspoons salt 
  • 100ml sunflower oil  



Place all ingredients except oil into a bowl and whisk to combine.  

Slowly drizzle in the oil whilst whisking. This is an emulsified dressing, meaning the oil is absorbed into the other components to create a new texture.   

It is best as a 2 person job, one whisking and one person adding the oil.  Or make in a blender and add the oil in a slow stream while the motor is running. 

The mixture should be pale, creamy and thick.
