A super easy vegan staple. Sprinkle on salads, add to vegetable pattie mixes, or simply eat as a snack. We love it with zoodles and often add some dehydrated fresh pineapple, cherry tomatoes and fresh oregano to give the dish a bit of a pizza flavour
VEGAN GLUTEN-FREE GRAIN-FREE NO ADDED SUGAR | Makes 400g
- 100g sundried tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch of chilli flakes
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon tamari
- 300g walnuts
Process the first 6 ingredients until smooth. Add the walnuts and process briefly to a coarse crumb.Refrigerate for up to 8 weeks.
You can use as is, or slightly dehydrate for 3 hours at 450C to dry it out and intensify the flavour.
